Who we are:
Shmuel is the Chief Creative Officer and an Operations and Administrative specialist with ~twenty years supporting nonprofit organizations. A trained philosopher, Jewish professional, writer, and artist.
Shmuel has been learning the traditional Japanese sword style MuTo Ryu since the very early 2000’s, is the first of the fifth generation to receive a teaching certificate, and is the senior upperclassperson for Aikido in the Komyozan dojo.
Kimbal is the Primary Editor and Story Consultant with a background in fine arts, sculpture, and mixed media, who holds a masters degree in education. Kimbal has been learning traditional martial arts for more than forty years and teaching MuTo Ryu and Aikido since the 1980’s.
